Keepsake brings together 9 artists working in photography, film, video, writing and collage. The title dictates the theme of memory and objects that trigger memories. The show is part of the Photomonth season.

Diane Bielik uses still life photography and high street photographic 'gift ideas' (key rings, jigsaws etc) to create keepsakes out of memories extracted from a summer of diagnosis, treatment and recovery from ovarian cancer.

Karl Bielik's piece comprises of an ongoing two year collection of photos, ephemera and memorabilia which adorned his studio wall. A hasty collage was made of this collection on a large canvas. A bag of Taiwanese dots were then applied meticulously hiding and emphasizing aspects of the collage.

Charlie Bonallack & Patrizia Combaud 'No For An Answer' – The story of a crisp memory, with words and photographic images.

Matt Boyle is producing a film based on an extract by film director Luis Bunuel, using his theory of colour in memory and the timing of memories to an individual consciousness.

'Love Boat Rejects' by Ian Hughes - Photographs taken onboard American based cruiseships in the 1990's. Each one picked out and collected by the ship's photographer as the funniest unsold picture at the end of each cruise.

Justine McLaughlin uses film and photography to explore how bad memories can coexist along side good memories

Blerim Racaj - Kosovo is a place in transition in all aspects of life, economic or political, things are moving very fast. The idea of this project was to capture a moment of time in that process by portraying land and people of the area.

Cheryl Saunders uses photography, liquid emulsion, paint and embroidery to represent places that evoke specific childhood memories and emotions.
